Microsoft’s has announced the new Windows 8.1 update release date, the company today told that Windows 8.1 will be available October 18 from 12:00 am in New Zealand, or 5:30 PM on October 17 in India. The company has also revealed that the free update to Windows 8.1 will start rolling out through Windows Store for users of Windows 8, and will also be available through retail stores and on new hardware from October 18 itself.
Windows 8.1 brings a set of new innovation and improvement in services including Internet Explorer 11, Bing-powered search, built-in apps including a few new ones, an improved Windows Store experience, and cloud connectivity with SkyDrive, personalization of the interface and more.
