Lately, we have heard quite a lot of rumors about the Motorola X Phone, which is expected to be released this year and would be the first smartphone by Motorola, after it was acquired by Google. One of the rumors about the X Phone had suggested that it would be customizable as per the need of the users, wherein the users would be allowed to select hardware specifications on the phone, like it’s RAM, Display Resolution, etc.
Adding to the list of rumors, is the latest report by PhoneArena, which throws some more light on what could we expect from the Motorola X Phone. The website says that according to it’s tipster, the Motorola X Phone will come with a 4.8-inch display, which would be made out of “Sapphire Glass”, which is almost three times harder to crack than the Gorilla Glass. However, the source did not reveal any information about the display resolution.
The website goes on to say that the corners of the Motorola X Phone will be made with rubber bumpers, while the back will be made of carbon fiber and the smartphone would be powered a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which is undoubtedly one of the most powerful CPUs available for smartphones in the market today.
If that isn’t enough to blow your mind, wait till you hear this- The Motorola X Phone is expected to house a mammoth 4,000mAh battery, which will surely give you all the talk time you ever hoped from your smartphone on a single charge. Other than that, PhoneArena’s tipster also mentioned that the smartphone will be water resistant and will be launched launched sometime in November.
If we combine the latest set of rumors with the ones that surfaced earlier, we can expect the Motorola X Phone to sport a Full-HD screen as well and thus, the X Phone will be more powerful than all the other smartphones that have been announced till date, including the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4.
However, it’s still too early in the day to speculate about the performance of the device, but we hope that we get some concrete information about the Motorola X Phone soon, because from whatever we’ve heard till now, the X Phone could really be the ultimate smartphone.
