The construction and mining giant Caterpillar has announced tough Android smartphones, named the Cat B15.
Cat B15 is an IP-67 Ingress certified smartphone, which means it can withstand dust, water, drop & shock proof. Cat B1 is capable of withstanding water immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes as well as 1.8 meter falls on concrete floors. The device is also dustproof and comes with a special surface to protect the display.

5 megapixel rear camera and a front facing camera for video chatting.
4 inch display has 800 x 480 pixel resolution. For more protection, the display has been made with Gorilla glass.
The device has been priced at 322 Euros or Rs 27,000 approximately including international shipping for India as well. It will be made available worldwide through Caterpillar's authorised dealers this year.
512 MB RAM and 4 GB of onboard storage along with a 32 GB expandable storage slot.
Other features includes a 3G single SIM connectivity along with WiFi and Bluetoothwireless connectivity options. The device has been priced at 322 Euros or Rs 27,000 approximately including international shipping for India as well. It will be made available worldwide through Caterpillar's authorised dealers this year.
