Perhaps this is the biggest factor that could prove off-putting to a lot of Android users. The point remains that with Facebook Home, the social network will take over your smartphone. From the Cover Feed which replaces your natural icon-based home-screen to the App Launcher, to Chat Heads, every key feature of your smartphone will have the Facebook stamp on it. This is something that not everyone wants and is evident from the reviews.
The beauty of Android is that it allows users to personalize their devices with Widgets, Google Now, etc. But with Facebook Home, the beauty is definitely lost.
