After the recent launch of the not so impressive Slate 7, HP is rumored to launch a tablet that boasts of some pretty impressive specifications.
Known as the SlateBook 10 x2, the benchmarks of the latest offering from HP showed up on AnTuTu.
From the benchmark, we can make out the processor speed, it's clocked in at 1810 MHz or 1.8 GHz and is running on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2. It's also rumored to have a 10-inch screen and the new Nvidia Tegra 4 Soc.
On one hand, this might not be a tablet after all, and be one of the new Android-powered netbooks set to release later this year, and hence the name SlateBook. But that's all speculation right now.
Riding on rumors, we had seen another x2 offering from HP, the Envy x2. What is the Envy x2 ? It is a Windows 8-powered convertible tablet. What do we mean when we say convertible ? It means the Envy x2 comes with a detachable keyboard, you attach the keyboard and you got yourself a nifty little notebook. You detach it, you got yourself a tablet.
That's all for convertible.
So going by the name, the new SlateBook 10 x2 might also just turn out into a convertible hybrid, but till it comes out we can only speculate. I hate speculating.
