Price cut seems to be the new weapon in the arsenal of tablet makers in India battling through competition. Recently, Micromax A116 Canvas HD was spotted on an online store at a price of Rs 14399, which is a reduction of 18% than its estimated price of Rs 17,499. This is the first time that the phone has seen a price drop.
The device was launched on February 14 2013 at a budget price of Rs.13,999. It was first made available on Snapdeal.com and because of its good features and specification packed in such a low price, it received tremendous attention from Indian consumers and soon the device was out of stock. The device has also faced delay in shipments.
