The quad-core race just got more intense with ZenMobile announcing the Ultraphone 701HD today.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and has 1GB of RAM. The dual-SIM phone features a 5-inch display that has a resolution of 720x1280 pixels.
The smartphone runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and comes pre-installed with a bunch of social apps like Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a BSI sensor, and a 3.2-megapixel front facing shooter. The phone offers 4GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded to 32GB via microSD card. It has a 2,000mAh battery and supports 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The phone can be pre-booked on Snapdeal for only Rs. 101. The smartphone carries a price tag of Rs. 11999 and if ordered from Snapdeal you will get freebies worth Rs. 2000 free ( Flip Cover + Back Panel + Screen Guard).
The phone will compete against the likes of the Micromax A116 CanvasHD, the Karbonn S1Titanium, the Karbonn S5 Titanium, the Xolo Q800, the WickedLeak Wammy Titan 2 and the soon to be launched UMi X2 . All these are powered by quad core processors, with almost the same specifications. The A116HD, Titan 2, UMi X2 and now the Ultraphone 701HD have the same MediaTek MT6589 chipset. The UMi X2 and the Micromax A116HD have a slight advantage in their displays but other than that you will find all the other specification to be almost same. Finally, it all comes to personal taste.

So here's a final recap of the ZenMobile Ultraphone 701HD :
