Today Sony has officially announced the Xperia ZR and has also released a video of the Xperia ZR on its YouTube channel.According to Sony this phone offers highest level of water-resistance. The company did not mentioned the exact release date of this phone, but we expect it to be launched at the end of this quarter.
Xperia ZR has dust-resistant as well as waterproof IP55 and IP58 certification and can be keep submerged in 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.It also has a Shatter proof sheet for scratch-resistant glass. Using Xperia ZR Camera one can shoot videos or can capture photos underwater.
Design wise Xperia ZR is similar to Xperia Z , but in terms of specification Xperia ZR is one step behind of Xperia Z. Below are the Key Features of Xperia ZR :-
