Today we got a picture of the device being tested on Sprint network, which could be the Motorola X phone or XFON.
If this indeed turns out to be the the X phone, Google’s influence on it is unmistakable. And, so far, it’s not for the better.
You may have liked them or not, but pre-Google Motorola phones always had a strong character. You just had to glimpse at the device to easily recognize that it’s Motorola.
The handset pictured above, its like going to the bad old days when Google didn’t care about how the things look&feel. Sprint’s Motorola X has such a bland, generic design, it’s uncanny. Put it next to Galaxy Nexus, or Nexus 4 – and you’ll have a very hard time telling which is which.
Motorola X phone expected Specs:
- 1.7 GHZ snapdragon dual-core processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 4.7" 720p Display
- 16 GB internal memory
- Android 4.2.2
