Sim City for Mac 'not ready'

EA’s latest SimCity game was
scheduled to be released on Mac next
week on 11th June, but the company has
announced that it will be delayed
because it is not yet ready.

“We have made this tough decision
because we do not believe it is
ready for primetime yet,” said
senior producer Kip Katsarelis.

In an effort to appease those who
were itching to get the game on
June 11, EA has said that it will
extend the availability of SimCity
Launch Park, so that OS X players
will still have the opportunity to
access it. EA is also set to push
out a new update that will improve
the stability of multiplayer, make
tweaks to certain game mechanics,
and introduce a ton of new
features.
