Sony Announces Xperia Z Ultra With 6.44 Inch Display

Sony today announced its long rumored Xperia Z Ultra phablet at Mobile Asia Expo. Sporting a massive 6.4-inch full HD display which will be able to support any stylus with a conductive tip, like a regular pencil. 

Xperia Z Ultra is the first phone to come with its TRILUMINOS display. The company claims that TRILUMINOS Display for which will deliver true and natural shades with a greater range of rich, natural and vivid colours . The display also includes X-Reality for mobile – Sony’s picture engine that analyses every single image to optimise colours, sharpness and contrast. The phone is waterproof and dust proof and is IP58 certified and cn be used underwater to capture photos.

The phone also supports handwriting recognition which is compatible with any pencil and selected stylus or pen (capacitive stylus or metal pen with tip diameter over 1mm).
