Some Korean sources reveal that Samsung has readied a 16MP Camera with Optical Image Stabilization(OIS) which it had intended to use it in upcoming Galaxy Note 2 successor. But its suppliers won't be able to supple the No of units of Sensors required to sell the Note model which is supposed to 10 million units which ti will launch on 4th Sept next month which is just less than 10 days from now.
OIS is now slowly becoming a part of Camera modules in Phones today. OIS was First seen in Nokia's Lumia 920 which was a massive technology put hard in a mobile. HTC One and LG G2 also have OIS technology powered Camera. Samsung's first phone with OIS was the galaxy S4 Zoom with a 16 MP camera which was a more of point and shoot which could make calls, send and receive messages, surf the internet, etc. Nokia last month introduced their Flagship device of the year Lumia 1020 with Giant 41 MP camera Sensor with OIS Part 2 and it is a great camera than a Windows Phone.
Its just a wait and watch game until Samsung unveil the Next Galaxy Note in Berlin in IFA this year.
