mPact Glass Screen Protection for Apple iPad Air : Review

According to a survey made, it states that 54% of iPad owners drop their device and break their screens. As a solution to it, A firm - "deigned by m" queued up a series of glass screen protectors (called as mPact glass screen protector) for Apple devices. Today we got a chance to review the mPact glass screen protector for iPad Air.

Talking about the design of mPact Glass, it is ultra thin at 0.4mm thickness and with the Epoxy Coated Home Buttons; It hardley gives you a chance to notice that you are using a glass screen protector on your iPad.

 Application and use

Step1 -

Clean and remove any dust or dirt on your screen with the cleaning cloth provided.

Step2 -

Peel back the label marked number 1, Try to avoid touching the backing so your screen protector stays clean and fingerprint free.

Step3 -

Align the film to the corner of your screen. Then, while holding in its place, slowly apply the  screen protector using the applicator provided.

Step4 -

Peel back the label marked number 2. As long as there’s no dust or dirt underneath, any bubbles should disappear in about 48 hrs.

iPad without mPact glass

The mPact glass gave the iPad a very nice look unlike those ugly plastic screen guards which shows scratches and screen sensitivity issues after some use. It had no effect on the touch and feel of iPad and brightness was also not an issue. The mPact felt same as the iPads screen and it was hard to notice that we have a screen guard installed.



While installing the mPact glass on our iPad, we had no bubbles or rainbow effect and the glass covered the screen edge to edge. We did a few torture tests which included Keys, coins, nails, hammer, screwdriver and a wrench. You can take a look at it in this video.

mPact glass survived all the tests and the touch and feel remained the same. No scratches after all the hammering and nailing, which was a surprise!
