Once again, on the eve of a smartphone unveiling event official press renders of the device get leaked. This time we’re talking about what should be Nokia’s first Windows Phone device not to be clad entirely in plastic (nay, polycarbonate).
The first official photo of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 925 has been posted on the now famous evleaks twitter account. Previously dubbed Catwalk, this is the first all-metal handset to come out of Nokia in a while. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the material of choice for the Lumia 925 is believed to be aluminum.
With Nokia holding a media event on May 14th, evleaks has released some low-resolution pictures of the Nokia Lumia 925. This is supposedly the model that has earned the codename "Nokia Catwalk," and is similar to the Nokia Lumia 920 except with a thinner, lighter body and a revamped camera. The profile picture of the device shows an extremely thin design.
Besides this model, we could also see the Nokia Lumia EOS introduced on Tuesday, and the Nokia Lumia 625. The former is purportedly the Windows Phone version of the Symbian flavored Nokia 808 PureView while the latter is supposed to offer the largest screen of any Lumia model at 4.7 inches.
