The long-rumored Nokia EOS model might soon be here. Over the last few days, we have seen a number of leaks with each one proclaiming that it is the real thing. Now, we have a few new pictures purportedly of the Windows Phone version of the Symbian powered 41MP Nokia 808 PureView. The device is said to be undergoing testing by AT&T under the code name Elvis.
Casing of the phone leaked that reveals the front part that looks similar to the the Lumia 920. According to the rumors it would also come with the same polycarbonate material and would have tapered edges that makes the device look thinner. It would be 9.7 mm thick slightly thicker than the Lumia 925 that has an aluminium frame.
There’s also the Lumia 925 styled dots towards the bottom of the back side that indicates wireless charging wont be an integrated part of the phone, but will work via a snap-on cover instead just like the Lumia 925 and Lumia 720.
There are two dots on the bottom of the phone similar to the Lumia 925. Looks like this would have a separate wireless charging accessory instead of built-in wireless charging in the Lumia 920. WPcentral says that the phone is in early trial on AT&T and is codenamed Elvis for the operator.
Now these arrived at WPDang from an anonymous source, which obviously means you should take them with a hefty dose of salt. That said, what you can see above does seem to align pretty neatly with the rumors we’ve been hearing about the Eos for a few months now.The smartphone could get unveiled on July 9, in which case we expect to see many more leaks about it in the coming weeks.
