Nvidia SHIELD gets a price cut before launch, to start shipping from 27th June for $299

The Santa-Carla company first introduced the SHIELD in CES this year.Shield is a handy gaming console as well as an entertainment module. 
The news is officially coming from Nvidia is that the SHIELD is ready to ship starting 27th June which is a week away.the SHIELD was previously priced at $350 but now it has got a price cut before its launch which now $299.

The price cut was the result of the feedback offered by gamers:

“We've heard from thousands of gamers that if the price was $299, we'd have a home run.”

The pre-orders of the SHIELD started last month on 20th may. The customers who ordered SHIELD at previous price will get now the console at launch price.Recently Nvidia showed the non gaming power of shield which impressive as an entertainment device(video).
