iPhone 5s vs Nokia Lumia 1020 : Comparison does it?

The race between Smartphone is ranging up and high these days as many OEM’s are competing with each other for the making best sellers out right. Such are the two companies Apple and Nokia which have recently launched their Flagship Smartphone’s. Apple launched its iPhone 5s this year on 10^th September which is successor to its previous iPhone 5 which enhancements in hardware as well as software. Nokia launched its Camera friendly Pureview device the Lumia 1020 with 41MP camera on 8^th July which it brought DSLR features in a mobile.

Apple’s latest iPhone 5s makes certain changes which in hardware are the latest Apple’s A7 processor it’s the first 64-bit processor used in any mobile device which is dual-core 31% more better than one seen in its predecessor and coming to its RAM which is still 1GB but LPDDR3 which is good. Camera has been the updated but keeping the Megapixel same as 8 supported by a dual-led flash but says Apple that its 15% bigger and its pixels are physically better and stronger of 1.5microns and its f/2.2 aperture gives it a better low-light condition photography which is pretty good. Apple’s iPhone gets its power from the 1550mah battery which is better and bigger than last one. Apple also included the M7 motion processor for better usability of the phone which tracks the accelerometer, gyroscope and compass to keep tracking how use your phone and improve its standards. Nokia Lumia 1020 leads in the Camera section with its biggest 41MP sensor which has a mechanical shutter and two flashes one is led and the other Xenon flash for low-light conditions. The sensor is 1/1.5 bigger than any out in the market. In the camera you get DSLR settings which include some of aperture, shutter, iso and many so. Nokia says about the phone that “shoot first Zoom later” which has a powerful 6x digital zoom, that was what Steven Elop Nokia’s CEO said during the launch which means that you shoot the picture first and then zoom it in using nokia’s powerful Nokia Pro cam and the really powerful OIS version 2 states nokia, for videography Nokia has the put the OIS or Floating lens technology for the first time in Video shooting using bearings so now you can shoot anyway you like without getting the blurry shots in Photo and Video as well. Coming on to the hardware side of the phone Nokia has provided Qualcomm’s 1.5 GHZ dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM which runs on the Microsoft’s Windows 8 platform. Lumia 1020 features a Adreno 225 GPU for its raw power and processing the apps and gaming.

Microsoft’s windows 8 Operating system works on the title interface but lacks many features which is also not user-friendly and it lacks a powerful app store which makes it unappealing but Microsoft gives it an advantage for business purpose as its office suits come preloaded on it and prove fruitful for people constantly needing to work on the go. Here Apple’s iOS beats the Windows phone 8 OS as now apple has introduced the latest iOS 7 giving it a complete makeover it its OS which only made enhancements since its launch but this make up has been getting some good response. Apple’s app store which has the most apps than any other app store featuring over 8 million apps where as compared to Windows 8 app store having around 150,000 apps which Apple’s app store kick its by long and useful apps.

Apple also introduced the first ever TouchID fingerprint scanner in its iPhone 5s which is placed under the home button and you can scan as many 5 fingerprints on the TouchID and use to unlock the phone, make payments for now and will get to do more soon says Apple.  As this advantage takes iPhone on Lumia 1020 so Nokia also has a dedicated camera Strap which if connected makes it a complete camera to hold and shoot also it includes is battery 1020mah which gives it extra juice and a tripod stand to hault the cam and  shoot.

Coming on to the conclusion as seen in above comparison Apple’s iPhone really lashes out the Nokia’s Lumia 1020 in every manner except the camera which Nokia has no other competition. If you looking for a good phone then iPhone 5s has to be your choice(atleast mine it is) but if you’re looking a good camera phone Nokia Lumia 1020 is what you should look on.
