The Nokia Lumia 2520 can be used flat on any surface, or held in one hand while you type away with the other. However, you can accessorize your tablet with the Nokia Power Keyboard to not only enable your Lumia 2520 to stand upright on your lap or a table, but also add a whole bunch of other functions.
The Nokia Power Keyboard has a track-pad up to an additional five hours of battery life, two additional full-sized USB ports, and beautiful wraparound protection.
If you’re required to carry around a laptop everyday you’ll be familiar with the extra weight that burdens your shoulders or back. The Nokia Lumia 2520 only weighs 615g, which is barely noticeable and perfect for slipping into a small bag. If you opt for the Power Keyboard, you may not even need the bag, as the keyboard wraps the tablet safely in transit and can be carried like a folio.
Microsoft Office has been the lynchpin of many a workforce for years and the 2013 RT version comes preinstalled on the Nokia Lumia 2520. If you’re using it for business though, you’ll need to get a licence. Most likely you’re already covered, if you have commercial licence for Microsoft Office on your work PC.
Create Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations for anything from a simple budget to something to be shared at important meetings. Microsoft Outlook is also integrated for a full-on professional email experience.
Once you’ve created your presentation using Microsoft Office 2013 RT, take your tablet along with you to your meeting and plug it into the TV using the micro HDMI port to share directly. You can also use DLNA for a wireless experience with a suitable screen or projector.
Being able to open one app and have it sit open next to another app is amazingly useful. You could also make a Skype call on one side of the screen and make notes using OneNote on the other. Have the two placed beside each other by dragging the app to the sides of the screen.
Lumia 2520 has 2GB of RAM. This makes every action super-slick. However, if it’s storage you’re after, you’ve got plenty available here. There’s 32GB available internally with additional support up to 32GB with a micro SD card.
