Nokia X Which was launched last month during MWC is now available in India for Rs 8500($138). Recently Nokia announced series of smartphones that run a modified version of Android which includes <a href="http://www.mobiledoctors.co/2014/02/nokia-x-nokia-x-and-nokia-xl-android.html" target="_blank">Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL</a>. In this modified version of android, Nokia has replaced key API's and services which also includes Google's Maps and applications marketplace with its own apps and Microsoft's services. A froum member on XDA developers has posted a tutrial to root Nokia X, so it runs Google launcher, Play Store and other Google apps including Gmail and maps.<br />
<br />
Nokia has already mentioned that the phone will be able to run around 75% Android apps without any modifications. Only if apps uses Google services for push notifications, maps or in-app payments Developers only need to make some minor changes.<br />
<br />
It's worth pointing out that rooting the phone will void its warranty. Also Google's own suite of apps are not open source, so technically, it's not legal. <br />
Nokia released this X series to fill the gap between the asha series and the low cost windows phone devices.</div>

finally took the wraps off the Lumia Icon for Verizon Wireless. The LTE 
device with Windows Phone 8 will be available in the carrier’s retail

 Nokia Lumia Icon features Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with 2.2GHz 
quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in, non-expandable memory on
 board. The display is a 5” super sensitive ClearBlack AMOLED unit with 
Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and pixel density of 441ppi. The main camera of the Nokia Lumia Icon is a 20MP PureView unit with 
1/2.5” BSI sensor, f/2.4, OIS, and a dual-LED flash. It is capable of 
capturing 1080p videos @ 30 fps. Connectivity of the smartphone 
includes Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and USB 2.0. The phone 
will work with a nano-SIM card. Lumia
 Icon has FM radio too. <br />

The physical measures of the Nokia Lumia Icon are 137 x 71 x 9.8mm, 
while its weight tips the scale at 167 grams. The device is powered by a

According to Sources, Nokia is planning to release the Lumia 930, 630, and 635 smartphones. They should be officially announced at Mobile World Congress, which begins on February 24th.<br />

 930 is the higher spec'd of the devices, packing a quad-core 2.2GHz 
CPU, 2GB RAM, a 4.5” 1920x1080 resolution display, microSD card slot, 
16GB of internal storage, 20MP camera, and a 2700mAh battery.<br />

The 630/635 is the successor to the Lumia 620. They're both mid-range
 handsets, with the 635 reportedly being a dual-sim variant of the two. 
These phones will be sporting 4.3” WVGA displays, 8GB internal storage 
plus microSD card slots, 1GB RAM, dual-core 1.7GHz CPUs, 8MP cameras,

According to Winp.cn the Lumia Icon is on sale on a Chinese ecommerce website called Taobao, which is importing the handsets from America. Priced at just 3,800 Yuan ($630), we’re not entirely sure how they managed to get their hands on this thing, seeing as it hasnt even been announced yet, but they sure took a lot of pictures to prove that they’ve got the Lumia Icon.</span></div>
