Nokia Lumia 929, aka the Lumia Icon meant for Verizon USA, was caught in the wild on the other side of the planet, in China.
Apparently it’s on sale there, thought whether it’s officially or just a prototype being sold online, has been lost in translation. According to Winp.cn the Lumia Icon is on sale on a Chinese ecommerce website called Taobao, which is importing the handsets from America. Priced at just 3,800 Yuan ($630), we’re not entirely sure how they managed to get their hands on this thing, seeing as it hasnt even been announced yet, but they sure took a lot of pictures to prove that they’ve got the Lumia Icon.
As if all that wasnt enough, the Lumia 929 was also caught on video as well:
The Nokia Lumia Icon is rumored to have a 5 inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 20 Megapixel PureView camera and run Windows Phone 8. Basically a 5 inch version of the Nokia Lumia 1520 then.
