Apple's 2013 version of Mac Pro seemed to have attracted more people than ever which was released last week to the US market. But it has the premium Apple-ish design for what the company has been know and the most exciting and worst part of the Mac Pro is what we and you care the price. Price has what Apple has defined that it can have no limits while shedding out for the premium device you want. Yet Apple has managed to lure customers but mostly Entrepreneurs mainly developers wanting the best hardware to work their work.
Apple's higher version of Mac Pro costs $9,599 a whopping $10k device which if converted to INR gives mind blowing almost around Rs. 600k which has Configurations like this:
- 2.7 Ghz Intel 12 core Xeon processor
- 64 GB RAM
- 1 TB SSD
- Dual AMD FirePro D700 6 GB Graphics
And these specs may blew up any person but the price takes the charge. Now Futurelooks editor Stephan Fung tried to build a Windows version of the Mac Pro with top notch specs and the result was even more shocking. Windows version specs included:
- 2.7 GHz Intel 12 core Xeon processor
- 32 GB RAM
- 512 GB SSD
- Two AMD FirePro W9000 6 GB graphics
These specs resulted into price tag of $11,534 more than the higher version of the Apple Mac Pro. He said"I’m not afraid to admit that compared to the asking price of $9,599 US, the new Mac Pro seems like one heckuva deal for these components.”
And the liter version of Mac Pro costs about $2,999 which also beat the Smaller Windows version of Pro in terms of pricing and the price came to be $3,994 which resulted both versions costing more than 20% than Apple.
