2014 will the year of the wearable devices, The CES-2014 is alreay overflowing with gadgets that range from smartwatches and fitness bands to even smart necklaces. Manu new company's have showcased their wearable devices apart from big other company's like Sony,Samsung etc.
1. Smartwatches: Pebble has launched a new smartwatch called Pebble Steel - this watch looks like a normal classic wristwatch and has a leather & steel finish and comes with improved features. In addition Pebble has launched its new app store with no. of apps which are now available on both iOS and Android's Pebble apps.
2. Fitness Bands : Razer and Garmin, both the tech companies have launched their fitness bands at CES . Users can achieve their fitness goals, by recording their running and walking exercises etc, using the fitness bands like the Nabu, the Vivofit and the BlueWatch. LG in partnership with Intel has showcased a fitness band called Lifeband Touch which comes with a range functionalities including taking calls and playing music etc.
3. Glasses Display: Epson has showcased its own Glass display, just like the Google Glasses. The Epson Moverio BT-200 has two projects that project images on both lenses which provides a more immersive experience to its users.
4. Bluetooth Wearable : CSR has announced a fashionable tech wearable known as Bluetooth enabled necklace. The user can customize the neckpiece's colour and brightness and also CSR's microprocessor can be connected to the notification center on Apple's iOS 7 so whenever users gets any notification on his iOS device it automatically pops on the neclace.
