MediaTek has already started on the same. Today company has announced the MT6732 processor which is aimed to provide high end features at minimal cost.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The MT 6732 is a 1.5GHz Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor and supports 64-bit codes. In terms of graphics it has a Mali-T760 graphics unit which supports OpenGL ES visual effects and general-purpose OpenCL computing. This Mali-T760 ARM claims is 4X more power-efficient than the older T600-Series. It has built-In modem of 150Mbps LTE data for connectivity. </span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">MediaTek will be launching this chip starting from third quarter of the year. So we will have to wait till third quarter for the smartphone's running on MediaTek's MT6732 processor .</span></div>
